David Tinney was born to Merl and Mary Tinney at Maude Norton Memorial Hospital in Columbus, Kansas.

    He is one of three sons to his parents, Scott being the oldest, Doug being the youngest of the three.

    Growing up in a small town in southeast Kansas, David graduated from Columbus Unified High School in May of 1971.

    On April 3rd of 1979, he received Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and has continued to serve Him.

    His wife, Judy, is a native of Oklahoma and they live near Grand Lake. David is the general manager of Adventure Travel Service, a company specializing in international airlines tickets. David and his father, Merl, started the business in 1991 and continues to this day. David is also the founder of Expert Tree Service, a disaster response company that mobilizes with other tree service companies to respond to hurricane damage. His company is currently located and providing Tree Service New Orleans.

    David's passion is writing and effective marketing. Always looking for an edge, this article about video blogging reveals how simple and easy it is to use video blogging for fun and profit.     Recently, David and Brian Moomey collaborated on a project, Pastoral Care Ministry Resource, a manual and CD kit designed to help church leaders and pastors be more effective in pastoral ministry.
